Acceptable Use Policy

Rules for safe, lawful, and authorized use of VideoCutout video editing.

1. Scope

This Acceptable Use Policy applies to all use of VideoCutout, including uploaded videos, background images, generated results, account activity, and use of our storage.

2. Authorized Media Only

You may process only media that you own or are authorized to edit. You may not remove or obscure a third party's copyright notice, ownership mark, stock-library watermark, platform watermark, logo, signature, provenance marker, or rights-management information without permission.

3. Prohibited Content and Conduct

You must not use VideoCutout to create, edit, facilitate, or distribute:

  • pornography, sexually explicit or sexually exploitative material, including any sexual content involving minors;
  • face swaps, deepfakes, deceptive impersonation, or manipulated media presented as authentic;
  • harassment, bullying, threats, blackmail, stalking, or non-consensual intimate content;
  • fraud, scams, identity theft, forged evidence, deceptive advertising, or evasion of platform and payment protections;
  • content that violates privacy, publicity, copyright, trademark, contractual, or other legal rights;
  • content that promotes violence, terrorism, self-harm, illegal goods, or other unlawful activity;
  • malware, attempts to compromise the service, automated abuse, excessive load, or circumvention of security and usage limits.

You also may not resell access in a misleading way, misrepresent VideoCutout as affiliated with a third-party model or brand, or use the service in violation of applicable law.

4. Automated processing and safety checks

Uploaded media is validated for supported type and size before processing. We may reject, remove, or restrict media or requests that appear unlawful, unsafe, abusive, or inconsistent with this policy.

Do not attempt to bypass file validation, access controls, rate limits, or other safety measures.

5. Enforcement

We may block a request, restore credits where appropriate, remove stored material, restrict functionality, suspend or terminate an account, preserve relevant records, or report activity when reasonably necessary to protect users, rights holders, the service, or the public.

Serious violations—including child sexual abuse material, deepfakes used for abuse or fraud, or deliberate infringement—may result in immediate termination without refund except where required by law.

6. Reporting

To report abuse or a rights concern, email support@videocutout.net and include the relevant task or page identifier. Do not send illegal or highly sensitive media by email.
